I've been in a few flag football leagues and it seems they always use the kind where the whole belt is one piece and comes off entirely for a flag pull. This set is nice with the velcro flags. The velcro may eventually lose some strength, but I've used them in very wet and muddy conditions without anyone having issues getting their flags back on. And the whole flag doesn't get trampled on and put into poor condition sooner than needed... only the flags have the potential for that. Overall very good bargain set of flags. Also, the belts are quite long, so it should be fine for bigger guys. This review is from: Flag Football Belt and Flag Set, 6 Red Plus 6 Yellow (Misc.) This was a great option for adult flag football game we had on Thanksgiving and one of the cheaper ones. I also bought a kit that came with cones and bean bag but those flags were sewn on the belt. These are velcro, two flags per belt for a total of 12 belts! This is the way to go for a 6 on 6 game.
