Product Description
For decades we've been looking mesmerized into space, anxiously waiting for a potential alien invasion whereas the real danger is waiting right below our feet. There are quirky creatures living deep inside the earth which would rarely catch the eye in an alien movie. These inner-earthians are really into sunlight, the blue skie altogether earth's surface. That's why they sally out to conquer earth's upper world headed by the three freaked out KRANK brothers. In a giant monster of seven kilometers height - the so-called Krank tank - they drill through the earth's crust devastating Manhattan. This is just the start. Earth's invasion has only just begun. Of course mankind doesn't just stand on the sidelines. Fortunately, an invention by brilliant (yet pretty scatterbrained) inventor Dr. Samuelson is waiting to be used: the Kore Suit. By pure chance the three protagonists Pixie, Madboy and dog Rex got hold of the war robot. They enter it daringly to stop the invasion by the inner-earth creatures and, by the way, rescueing hijacked Dr. Samuelson. How does one destroy a metal giant like the Krank tank? Simply from the inside! This is where you start your journey through THE KORE GANG.

Well, for a short history lesson, The Kore Gang was originally supposed to be released on the original Xbox 10 or so years ago. The game was originally conceived by designer Klaus Lyngeled, formerly of Shiny Entertainment, known for games such as Earthworm Jim, MDK, Sacrifice, etc. Sadly, the publisher axed it and it was supposedly canceled. Fast forward many years later and it comes back as a Wii exclusive, but it was only released in other countries last year. However, finally it was announced that The Kore Gang would be making it to the North American market, but it'd end up suffering many delays, even though the game was done and ready to be released. Regardless of the cancellations and delays, The Kore Gang is a legitimately good platforming game. You play as three different characters in The Kore Gang, all with different Kore Suit abilities. You can switch between them at any point... Read more 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By = Fun: This review is from: Kore Gang (Video Game) This game is a great value. The graphics are colorful & crisp. One little glitch is the camera sometimes doesn't move the way you want it to-but this seems to be a recurring feature in a lot of Wii games. I wish there were more save points in the game; it seems to take a little while to get through the level (then you can save). You can toggle between 2 characters to accomplish your goal. And, the characters have a weird sense of humor. Pick it up-you'll enjoy it. |
