I bought this for a Christmas present for him and our entire family loves to play. Everyone can compete. The lights and sounds make it very exciting. Sometimes the scoring mechanism fails to register the points scored. But it really isn't a big deal, since it's all in fun. My husband has become quite competitive with my son. The whole family enjoyed playing it. We have 3 kids ages 6, 5, and 3. After only a short time playing it, sometimes the score would just totally reset itself. And we couldn't get the 2 player option to score correctly. I returned it thinking it was just a bad circuit board. I ordered a new one after getting my refund and I just got done testing the new one we received. The same thing is happening! I even tried it first to make sure it was not caused by my kids being too rough on it, etc. On my 3rd or 4th ball, the score reset itself back to zero. And on that same game, the scores went blank and I had to press the reset button in order for it to work again. I don't think I'll bother sending this one back just because my kids love the game so much. But it is sad that it costs over $30 and you can't even rely on the game to score you correctly.
