While I love the softer tones of the nylon strings, I couldn't bear to part with the way a steel string guitar feels. I learned on a classical guitar and I have wanted to return to it for a while now so this seemed like it would be my chance.The specs on this product page are true (I checked) and I believe the size measurements are the same for all the Fusions (expect maybe for the ones with 12 frets instead of 14). I spent a lot of time researching the different models before I chose to go with the "Rose". This is my second guitar and I wanted something distinguishable from my other steel-string. I checked out the photography on the Cordoba website and a couple other online stores, and decided that the "Rose" was the one for me. The pictures on Amazon don't give it any justice. It has a very warm sound. I wish Cordoba had done better in the details of this. For one thing the Cordoba web page states this is a great cross over for steel string players. The neck is narrower, but the action is much to high to satisfy the normal steel string acoustic player. Also the frets were very rough on the outer edges. I had to have these smoothed out to be playable.
